This year’s GCDA budget comprises of various schemes that will aid the overall development of Kochi, which is fast growing to the status of a major metro city in the country.
Some of the major proposals in this budget include improving the commuting facilities of the city, construction of commercial centres in accordance with the metro standards, construction of an exhibition-cum-convention centre with ultramodern amenities, launch schemes to develop Kochi’s tourism sector and introduction of schemes necessary for the development of sports tourism.
